Southeast Llama Rescue is a 100% volunteer organization, with
no salaries or overhead paid to anyone, so 100% of your donation
goes to benefit the rescued llamas.
Some of the ways your donations are used include:
Gelding
surrendered males
Vaccinations
and deworming at intake
Transport
for pickup and relocation to foster and/or adoptive home
Shearing
and nail-trimming labor and supplies (if not donated by volunteers)
Special
cases, where intake involves a compromised or pregnant or injured
llama, costs may be incurred for veterinary farm calls and treatment;
mineral supplements; vitamin B injections; FIBRevive; specialty
feeds; parasite protocols (which can range as high as $190 per
127 gm tube for certain types of dewormer); and other specialized
procedures to bring the llamas to a healthy state for adoption.
